"For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them." -Matthew 18:20

At Newell, we believe that there is no such thing as "just" fellowship. We are committed to doing life together, and strive to create opportunities for EVERYONE to feel connected to one another and to the One who made us.

NPC Women’s Circle

The Women’s Circle is open to all women. We meet at a local restaurant on the fourth Tuesday of each month for dinner, fellowship, and lively conversation. As a group, we participate in many service opportunities within the church and the community. On an annual basis, the group heads to the beach for a women's weekend retreat. In December, the group joins for the annual Newell Presbyterian Christmas luncheon, where we exchange gifts, share lunch, and celebrate the birth of Christ.

NPC Men’s Group

The Men’s Group meets in the Education Building for breakfast, fellowship, and prayer on the third Sunday of each month. In addition to their monthly breakfast, the Men’s Group also schedules various fellowship outings and service projects throughout the year. This group tends to enjoy golf, Charlotte sporting events, and biking on the Virginia Creeper Trail, but is always open to invitations that begin with, “what if we tried…”

The Newell Quilters

Ladies of different ages and different sewing experience meet every other Monday in the Education Building to hand sew quilts and to fellowship with each other.  The quilts are dedicated and then given to someone that the group decides on. So far 23 quilts have been given to sick members, members moving away, members having a baby and so on. Each quilt is made with love and given to wrap someone in the warmth of a handmade quilt and the love of the Newell Quilters.
